CBLA is a project which provides assistance to Southern African industries to enable them to mitigate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. It does this through 3 related activities:

• Capacity Building: Increasing the capacity of industry to develop and implement cost-effective and sustainable GHG mitigation projects through focused training and informational programmes.

• Leadership: Assisting industry associations and chambers to develop voluntary programmes to promote GHG emissions reductions in their respective regions and sectors.

• Action: Providing direct technical assistance to industries to identify, develop and implement GHG mitigation projects and to access carbon financing for these projects.
